Throw It Deep is based out of the Chicago area and specializes in year-round quarterback and wide receiver training and development. Regarded by hundreds of coaches and players in football as the top expert in proper QB technique training, Coach Christensen currently trains over 300+ QBs in the country including a handful of starting NFL QBs.
Coach Christensen has created a system of specific drills now endorsed and used by high school, college, and NFL coaches across the country. These drills have proven to be instrumental in developing and perfecting proper footwork that leads to improved throwing mechanics and better accuracy. Jeff has been invited to be a QB trainer at the Nike Elite 11, Under Armour Combine, Football University (FBU), Schuman Camps and combines all over the world. College & NFL coaches frequently invite Jeff to attend their practices and games to assess their quarterback’s mechanics and throwing technique.
At Throw It Deep, Coach Christensen instills in his athletes the drive to get better regardless of age or current skill level. From youth to the pros, each player is treated the same. Jeff also believes that coaching the proper technique of throwing and catching the football is not where Throw It Deep begins and ends. He leads a session during Sunday workouts dubbed “The Talk” where he speaks to the athletes about topics that center around issues that we face today in football and in life. Leadership, teamwork, discipline, integrity, and respect are promoted to athletes so they display a high level of character on and off the field.
