Brady Quinn: Latest News, Rumors and Speculation on QB’s NFL Future

Brady Quinn isn’t done just yet. The 30-year-old quarterback is reportedly attempting to mount an NFL comeback for one final time. Ben Volin of The Boston Globe (h/t ProFootballTalk.com’s Josh Alper) reported that Quinn is indeed working out in preparation for a potential return to the NFL.Volin provided some interesting details with regard to whom Quinn is consulting as he attempts to salvage his pro career: Another quarterback to add to your free agency list: Brady Quinn, who is making one last comeback attempt after going into broadcasting last fall. There aren’t any great options for needy teams, and if Quinn shows enough improvement, he may be able to climb the depth chart somewhere.The physical tools are present for Quinn to succeed. He sports a strong frame and prototypical size for the QB position. Inconsistent accuracy, lagging decision-making and an inability to throw the ball downfield have held Quinn back, though, as his career yards per attempt average is a meager 5.5.If nothing else, Quinn has proven to be a supportive teammate with a diligent work ethic, even if his on-field results haven’t reflected that. He would be a good veteran presence in any locker room, but the odds are long for him to ever be a starter.
